The resort is in a beautiful setting, with regular visits from the nearby-resident chickens, squirrels and other birds. It was a pleasure to have a nice cold drink on the balcony in the (relatively) cool of evening hearing these nature sounds, and seeing the animals producing them! :) The villas are spacious, well-appointed and comfortable, and we stayed several nights (on top of this booking). We would have stayed longer if our circumstances had not unexpectedly changed. The resort is located very close to the supermarket (7-11), money changers, museums, restaurants, and of course the River Kwai Bridge. It is an exceptionally good location. The resort restaurant is waterside, with very good views of the river, passing river traffic, and the bridge. The breakfast was a buffet of very good quality, which I highly recommend. 24 hour help-yourself coffee is also available near the hotel reception via a coffee-maker, which we certainly used and much appreciated. By far, the best comment I can make about the resort is the exceptional support and caring that was shown by the staff, and the manager, after my wife had a traumatic fall resulting in a severely broken wrist. The manager arranged for transport (free-of-charge) using the resort's own luxury van (most comfortable vehicle I've ever been in!) to-and-from the local hospital for emergency treatment Meals were provided to the room, without even asking, with staff enquiring how my wife was faring. We were extremely touched, and very appreciative. It was my wife's injury that resulted in us leaving the resort earlier than planned, as we had to travel to Bangkok for urgent surgery (which went well, I'm pleased to say!). The manager also arranged our taxi back to Bangkok, and refunded our pre-paid unused nights at the resort - she was incredibly supportive. Much appreciated!

Although the rooms are quite basic, the accommodation is more than adequate for a comfortable stay. Taking into account that you are not in a city centre or big city, you have all the necessary facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful and everything was clean. Breakfast was also definitely provided with enough choices and the view of the river kwai during breakfast was really blissful. A quiet location with a cosy village centre with cafe and bars a 20-minute walk away. Of course, you can also take a tuk tuk for this distance, which then only takes 5 minutes. Highly recommended is the restaurant across the street, under the hanger, where lots of locals sit and the food is very cheap but super tasty!

The location was brilliant - close to the bridge, on the river, and near all the restaurants etc. It has more of an authentic kind of feel to it rather than a modern hotel which was really nice. The decking near the river was nice for a beer (bought from the fridge at reception) at sunset and also breakfast is served there. Felt safe and very relaxing and peaceful. Staff were helpful too. They arranged for us a taxi to Erawan falls, the driver waited for us for a few hours while we explored and swam etc and then offered to take us to see a huge hydro power station and dam nearby plus some other sites on the way back. All arranged and pre paid at reception. Super friendly driver who went above and beyond.

The Stunning Garden setting is what really makes this hotel great. The heady perfume from the frangipani trees, the green manicured lawns, the strategically placed flowering orchids and at night, the magical lighting from the car park right down to the river with reception & cabins either side of the pathway. The rooms are well appointed with a roomy bathroom including Rainhead shower and large, soft towels. The staff are wonderfully friendly and supplied us with towels for our day trip to Erawan Falls. The Breakfast is adequate and served along the river.

Surprisingly nice resort with lot of maintained greenery. Parking onsite, quite good wifi, acceptale water pressure. The staff was friendly, especially during the breakfast. Breakfast was menu based, however with good choice of typical breakfast food. We have stayed 3 adults with 1 baby in a 3 bed family room. Not that spacious, but acceptable and sufficient. Usable balcony. Clean and nice swimming pool for those humid and hot days.
